LIFE CODES features the work of three longtime members of the United Selector Network (Egress, Embalmer, and label co-head Schedule I) which displays the highly idiosyncratic United sound. A fusion of acid, industrial techno, body music and teknival style tribe can be found on LIFE CODES in various incarnations and degrees.

Forged in the forests of the northwest, notorious LA warehouses, PNW squats, and the dedicated close-knit technoise communities of San Diego and Tijuana, these sounds conjure beastly and forbidden delights. Hinting at excesses past and still to come, each track remains true to an atavistic vision of humans melding and communing with their machines, rather than being controlled by them.

Includes a remix of "Pasillos Ctonicos" by USN newcomer BASS CVLT that provides a booming and hypnotic counterpart to the eskatonik original.

LIFE CODES marks a milestone in the history of the United Selector Network, firmly establishing a sound that has gradually formed within the hearts and minds of our collective consciousness as friends, artists, organizers, and dancers. As people looking for an escape from the labyrinthine monotony of a cold and egocentric world, and finding it in ever new and unexpected ways.
